Köln pick up a huge win in one of the Bundesliga’s biggest match-ups, the Rheinderby versus Borussia Monchengladbach! Dortmund fall again, this time to Freiburg, while Frankfurt and Wolfsburg defeat Hoffenheim and Augsburg respectively.
MD19 – Champions League race twists again as Frankfurt and Wolfsburg move into the top 4
The Champions League race is hotting up in the Bundesliga! Frankfurt come from behind to beat Hertha 3-1 and Wolfsburg defeat Freiburg 3-0. Koln prevail 3-1 over Bielefeld, and Bayern hammer Hoffenheim 4-1.
MD18 – Gladbach march on as the Champions League race hots up
Bayern open their lead at the top of the Bundesliga to seven points with a 4-0 win at Schalke! Mainz stun Leipzig 3-2, Gladbach beat Dortmund 4-2, and Bruno Labbadia and Michael Preetz lose their jobs at Hertha after a 4-1 loss to Werder Bremen.
MD17 – Bayern end the Hinrunde on top and it’s absolute despair for Schalke
Bayern finally grab a clean sheet in the Bundesliga as they beat Augsburg 1-0! Schalke are heartbroken as Koln score late on to win 2-1, Leipzig edge past Union 1-0, and Leverkusen get back on track with a 2-1 defeat of Dortmund.
MD16 – Bayern take advantage as Leipzig, Leverkusen and Dortmund all drop points
Bayern move four points clear at the top of the Bundesliga thanks a 2-1 victory over Freiburg. Dortmund and Leipzig can only draw, while Union and Frankfurt beat Leverkusen and Schalke respectively.
MD15 – The wait is over for Schalke while Gladbach stun Bayern
Finally, Schalke have won in the Bundesliga! They end a 359-day wait for victory with a 4-0 hammering of Hoffenheim. Bayern lose 3-2 to Monchengladbach, Dortmund defeat Leipzig 3-1 and Freiburg smash Koln 5-0.

A new year for the Bundesliga, but the same old Schalke! Die Königsblauen lose 3-0 to Hertha in Christian Gross’ first game as manager to take their winless top-flight streak to 30. Bayern come from behind to beat Mainz 5-2, Dortmund prevail 2-0 over Wolfsburg, and Union beat Bremen by the same scoreline.
