After the international break, the Bundesliga is back! As ever, there were plenty of goals to take in across the weekend’s nine games.
After the disappointing defeat against Union Berlin, Borussia Dortmund were back on top form against Bayer Leverkusen as they prevailed 4-0. In doing so, they took advantage of Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig’s 1-1 draw.
Elsewhere, Schalke hammered Paderborn and Eintracht Frankfurt lost to Augsburg. Also, Monchengladbach prevailed against Köln in the Rhein Derby. This historical fixture was the subject of this week’s In Depth section.
